Q4: How did you Integrate technologies – Software, hardware and online – in this project?
SOFTWARE:
ADOBE PREMIERE:

Adobe Premiere was used solely for the editing of the product, this includes all the cuts, edited fades, titles as well as musical and sound related tweaks that needed to be established.
HARDWARE:
CANON CAMERA:
This was used to shoot all the scenes of the film in which only the lenses varied from wide angles to close up lenses, to kit lenses.
BOOM MIC:
The boom microphone was used to catch the dialogues of the characters as well as some Foley sounds such as the sound of the classroom door closing. It was recorded and then synced with the video content in editing.
LIGHTS:
Large yellow standing lights were used to brighten the frame and represent the fact that it was daytime. They were strategically placed around the classroom to show as if the light was emerging from those shown in the frame as part of the room. This is further explained in detail in the light plan.
TRIPOD:
A tripod was used in order to keep the camera steady for pan and still shots so the focus many not go out of place and the frame may not shake.
ZOOM:
The zoom was a device that is responsible for all the saved sound recordings; it was used to store the sound accumulatively as it was recorded.
ONLINE WEBSITES:
YOUTUBE:

YouTube was primarily used for two reasons:
Firstly, it was used to search for royalty free music which was then used as a background score for the opening sequence of the film. Secondly and lastly, YouTube was used to post Powtoon animations for enhanced creativity towards our blog’s CCR section.
POWTOON:

Powtoon was used solely for the Creative Critical Reflection part of the Blog, in which animated videos were made to answer my question in a creative and stylish manner to attract the attention of viewers.
WORDPRESS:

WordPress is primarily where all the blog work was done and posted. It contains detailed information about each aspect of the film, including the journey that went into making it as well as the final product itself, along with the research and planning which took place to establish the very concept of the film.
